I don’t love this video

because it’s fairly boring and expected (young people! being young! they’re so crazy!), but I do love this song.

So close your eyes, I guess.

2 Thoughts.

  1. I like it. The video is nice, too: “expected,” but it adds to the aesthetic (celebration of spontaneous, ephemeral beauty), and I appreciate the spirit above the song.

The paper lanterns were mesmerizing, by the way.

I’m looking for some really tactile and synaesthetic prose – do you know of any?

  2. Hmmm, tactile prose….I feel like I might be the wrong person to ask this of! I tend to shoot for dreamy or sparse books. Oh, but I could perhaps suggest A.S. Byatt — she’s amazing, and just someone who’s important to read. I love Possession and The Children’s Book.
